5. How to claim Icelandair denied boarding compensation?

You may get denied boarding even if you have a valid ticket.

Yes, things like this happen. Even the best airlines sometimes do make mistakes, and sell too many tickets. What you should know is that whenever that happens, and you are denied boarding due to overbooking, you have a right to EU denied boarding compensation.

With Icelandair it applies to all their flights to and from Europe.
